Mixing of junk food products has become more common nowadays.
Most of us are aware of the reality that the junk food is unhealthy but we are eating it. Some consume it weekly and others on monthly basis. Students who are studying in schools, colleges and universities are eating this stuff due to which they are facing disease. They are eating unhealthy food that affects their life as well as their health. Parents are responsible for the good or bad so it is parents who are fully responsible for the good or bad eating habits among their child. They should train their child about eating habits from childhood and make them clear about the difference between healthy and junk foods.

Health could be affected by junk foods which are mixed by unscrupulous people. They mix the food just to earn money. Many schools could improve the amount and variety of healthy food choices for their students. Junk food targets the kids by advertisements. Through advertising, the big junk food industry is significantly influencing our children’s food preferences. Despite the best effort of parents to promote healthy eating, these advertisements are manipulating the minds of children towards them. Kids are being told by big budget marketing that junk food and sugary drinks are lip-smacking. The reality is that, they are rotting children’s teeth,  it is a crime to adulterated the food products.

Mostly, office workers or the bachelors who live away from their home are consuming the junk food. Sometimes, those housewives go for the junk food who does not want to do house chorus. People who want to celebrate their birthday parties and other events like fairs are also relying on it.

Without any fear the people mix junk foods which are found in the street people use to buy many products which are unhealthy. They know disadvantages of the junk food but still they purchase it. Recently in Faisalabad, Punjab Food Authority (PEF) has sealed a food factory on charge of preparing unhygienic and adulterated food items. As many as 23 food outlets in Islamabad have been issue challan for not following food safety laws.

Recently the Cantonment Board of Hyderabad (CBH) sealed sweet shops including the most famous Soghat-e-shireen in Hyderabad. Sealed outlets include Energy, both branches of Mirchi 360, Eat and take, Panna cassata and so on. The food inspector said that the outlets are sealed due to unhygienic conditions of kitchen, lack of cleanliness, use of unfiltered water, expired beverages, presence of insects, and so on.

This junk food highly affects the digestive system as well as nervous system. It increases cholesterol, fat, depression, food poison, and hypertension as well. As the restaurants and outlets are using same used ingredients and oil in foodstuff. Doctors say, junk food consumption must be control. People really know the consequences of this fatty, lack of protein food but are eating them. Junk food has too much fat and too much saturated fat in the diet will cause people to put on weight and get fat or obese.

Junk is a kind of addicted you get hooked on it and continue eating it in an uncontrolled way. Despite the fact that it not healthy the more you consume the more difficult you will find to opt for healthy food. Ending a junk food addiction might be difficult but not impossible. To beginning with you can successively decrease the frequency of eating junk food and try to eat more homemade foods.

Women's Participation in Sports
Across the country, Pakistani women are clearing hurdles to balance personal, professional, social and volunteer commitments. Women play leading roles in work and family life, but fewer and fewer Pakistani women are maintaining lifelong roles as sport participants and leaders.
Women’s power and influence over
sport has been pretty minimal until, say, now. In previous centuries, they gave birth to famous sportsmen and Queen Elizabeth I may have somehow nudged Sir Francis Drake into bowls. Other than that, their position was somewhat sidelined.

Efforts such as this acknowledge that when it comes to participation in sport, males and females are not the same, and a different approach is needed. We should not be going about trying to “fix” the female participation problem by simply trying to replicate what works for men. Instead, we need to create new sporting outlets and come up with innovative ways to encourage women to play more sport.

The participation of women and girls in sports challenges the gender stereotypes and discrimination, and can therefore be a vehicle to promote gender equality and empowerment of girls and women. Participation in sports and physical activity can also facilitate good mental health for women of all ages. It can promote psychological well-being through building self-esteem, confidence and social integration in our women.
Promotion of women sports will give our women strength to show their hidden abilities in front of the world. It will allow them to stand with the men in race of progress. They will develop leadership qualities just like the other sports men.

Challenges for Female Participation in Supports:
There are a couple of oft-cited reasons for the disparity. Women, particularly those with young families, simply have less free time than men, goes one. But research says different.
Women are more likely to exercise to keep fit and healthy (56 per cent) than men (43 per cent). They just chose to devote their time to fitness classes such as spinning, yoga and boot camps, or individual pursuits such as walking and running, instead of organized team sports.
A long road has been travelled but there is a good distance yet to travel. More promotion is needed. More investment required. More role models. More opportunities to play.
The alternative is to accept that women just aren’t as sporty as men. If this is the mindset, we will never see the gender gap narrow.

Interestingly, “newer” sports such as triathlon have large female numbers. The amazing grassroots phenomenon of parkrun has a 53 per cent female participation rate of all ages, and is in 55 locations throughout Ireland.
The bigger picture needs to be examined if Pakistan is to produce more brilliant female sports stars. It may not be that women don’t want to play sport, but that the opportunities are still not there at all levels, for all ages.

Accidents on Hyderabad Karachi Highway

We are living where we are at sword’s edge. And the minimal error in judgment on part of a citizen may have lethal consequences.
Several things might be happen, for instance you are in your civic travelling to Karachi from Hyderabad through Karachi Hyderabad motorway M9and you’ve got a fatal accident and you lost your life.
Indeed that’s a common thing at M9 motorway. 72 people died in different incidents in this part of highway at the start of 2017 which is reported by Sindh highway. If we go in past couple of weeks one of the student of university who died by falling from university point.
An estimate 1.2 million people are killed in road crashes each year, and as many as 50 million are injured, occupying 30 to 40 percent of orthopedic beds in developing countries hospitals worldwide and they are taking efforts of reducing these types of severe incidents, These types of incidents also does here but fortunately or unfortunately nobody care what happen here or who dies here. Officials always release the statistical reports but they doesn’t take a single step to reduce these types of incidents.
The situation of M9 is worst in all perspective i.e. condition,
The 136 kilometer-long road, which is spread across three districts of Malir, Thatta and Jamshoro, includes the additional of two lanes to the superhighway’s existing four lanes.
The sides of this motorway is not fenced with anything, this is also a major cause. Lamentably, citizens also violate the rules and regulations which is also a major cause.
Our response is not to address the bureaucracy, corruption and the sheer despotism but have to simply adopt to these chronic maladies.
If present trends continue, road traffic injuries are predicted to be the third leading contributor to the global burden of disease and injury by 2020. Developing countries bear a large share of burdens, accounting for 85 percent of annual deaths and 90 percent of the disability-adjusted life years because of road traffic or highway traffic injury.
Construction process of Hyderabad motorway is very low, people faces many hurdles. In motorway motor cycles are not allowed but bikes are running on it. There are no underpasses for the locals and no fences are installed on it because of this animals are on the highway that is also a cause of the bad event.
There is not speed as well as age limit or any other rules and regulation on it and if there is, then no one is here to deploy and to follow.
To decrease the rate of incidents we need the collective efforts of public and officials.

Article :The Unwanted Child by Dnyal

The Unwanted Child
        (child is always be wanted)
By: Danyal (24-mc-2k15)

Child is the gift of heaven that is very beneficial and precious for every human being. The child is never be unwanted it is always be wanted .
In Pakistan the city of lights and the land of civilized people there is a something going bad unfortunately.  There is a fresh or new born meat is available in the pipelines and manholes for the animals and insects in the midnight.  The Government and the Agencies have no authentic  data or records of that peoples.

But some real heroes in our society is present in the shape of "Eidhi" and "Chippa". The great social Workers. They only providing the shelters to these children. Eidhi says that there is no specific number of unwanted children  it goes ups and downs every new month. And the Chippa organization registered these types of cases 15 – 20 per month. According to Bilquis Eidhi the majority of Unwanted child is the Girl child (The Baby) that is 98%.
Expected reason is the want of Boy or Male Child. Those families that have a girls child already and again they disappoint by another birth and try to get rid of from it. They consider the Boy is important for their good life he will support family and make the condition and lives good. The Hospital staff of Eidhi center tells that when a girl born here the family sad and leave the girl for Eidhi home. And when a boy gone birth the "father of that boy get a breakfast (nashta) of (halwa puri) and start pressing the feet of his wife".
Second the main and current reason that’s going on its peak now days is "The Unmarried Couples" closeness and attachments between each other. They measure their by their closeness or by doing romance. Their Formula for measuring the love between a couple or a pair of people is simple that: "Romance is directly Proportional to Love". Or "The more The Romance, More The love". Whereas this shit is totally wrong when they two are come closer they lose their control and cross their limits and the reaction of this formula is the birth of a beautiful child birth. Then they both are worried about it and then they decide to throw it in to  Dogs areas in the midnight. The Newborn Child  is now become the special dinner for animals and when the next new morning comes it takes new aims for that couple.
The unwanted pregnancy rate increased between 2002 – 2012 at age of 15- 49 of women.
According to abortion Reports  there are 20% unwanted pregnancies from just 2012 – 2013.
Now it is very serious situation and government should have some strick steps to demolish this act. Apply strong laws on families that they never try to throw their children's or sell. Make certains rules for Engaged, Unmarried Couples, Lovebirds people. If someone cross the limit punished him badly. In Front of media.

Effects of social media on self-esteem by Fatima Jawaid

EFFECT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON SELF-ESTEEM
Socialmedia have been the most controversial topic in this era. With the availability of social media everyone is easily interacted to each other and in result people are making each other feel down. Either person himself is feeling insecure or making other down by posting online stuff.

Social media is constantly putting a question in teens mind. Why nobody is not noticing me? Why I don’t have that much likes? Why my life is not perfect as of them? Why that someone special did not react on my post? Why nobody gives me comments full of praise? This constant torture of looking ‘PERFECT’ is actually destroying the self-esteem of today’s generation. Yes, social media do have the severe effects on one’s own self esteem. Due to the constant exposure of using Social media one definitely thinks about himself. The globe of social media is growing larger and strong by introducing many social Apps. Themost used Facebook, Instagram, Snap chat, LinkedIn, Twitter are getting highly popular and used in past few decades.

Every now and then people are posting pictures of their touristing stuff, or if they are travelling and especially if anyone is getting married that Shadi stuff is definitely creating frustration.
The battles for likes is always an issue, comparing own self with other and feeling down that may be I am not that much worthy as others.  Social media is having a negative exposure by creating anxiety, depression, frustration, anger, low self-confidence. The advertisements and sponsors are also having a effect on mind to buy that product if especially it is in picture of your favoritepersonality.

We actually forget that nothing is perfect; especially what is displayed in public is not always true. Many times people are just showing off as if they are leading a very happy successful life but in real nothing is like that. Even our friends and family are only posting the best of themselves. Nobody is real. Nobody post their downfall.  Despite of knowing this that social media is creating depression and anger we still keep on checking and scrolling our news feed and peoples profiles, Instagram just to know and be updated at what place someone has reached.

Social media also leads to false connections and false relationships which is also on the other side a cause of depression, anger, sleeping problems, anxiety and loosing of self-worth. In short everyone is running behind one another for PERFECTION on social media.  Most of the times jealousy is also a factor behind not liking or commenting in someone’s post just because we only want ourselves to be successful and not ready to accept others as successful. One more word recently on  social media has been viral as ‘’GOALS’’ like people are running after other for these goals it can be relationship goals, friendship goals, study goals, life partner goals, family goals, or travelling goals. These Goals are also another cause of causing depression when we see ourselves unable to achieve these goals and other people enjoying and posting their goals stuff on Facebook and other sites. However, it doesn’t mean that social media only have negative aspects; many people are also getting famous by making vines and mimicry.

All in last, social media has both negative and positive aspects on self-esteem and self-confidenceit’snow up to us to not let it rule on us.
