He was born in January, 1957 in Qadri Street, LeelaBaghMohalla, Larkana. He got his primary and higher education in his home town. Then he came to University of Sindh,Jamshoro and got education in Department of Journalism in 1988. Originally he belongs to Larkana worked as teacher at Larkana and Karachi also worked as drama artists at Karachi radio than television. He also shifted Hyderabad and joined radio Pakistan as agriculture radio program officer. He is senior artist of Sindhi and Urdu dramas. According to him, acting is his occupation and he loves his occupation. He won number of awards for his performance.

Q. What is performance? Which role stays in human existence?
Ans. Everyone is artist in this world because everyone has their talent but no one can become actor easily because someone steal someone’s life or we can say talent that is why we said actor is a thief of nature.

Q. To became performer which talent is needed?

Ans. No one can easily made actors it is a creativity and talent. Only some people have this talent, it is God gifted and only talented people know this talent like directors.

Q. Which was your first drama and for what channel?
My first drama name was Nataksaba. It was on-airedon PTV. Manzoor Qureshi was the director of that drama and the drama was only half hour long. I worked along with Iqbal Kareem.
Q. In your perspective where Sindhi media stands nowadays?
In 90s, we watched only PTV channel and listened radio. In past, only professional people came in media and they conveyed a message in script but nowadays glamour is the most important aspect. Pakistani media was successful that time. Now, we are leaving the basic things and I am not satisfied with today’s dramas.
Q. with whom u are inspired for acting?
. I am inspired by Muhammad Ali Lashari’s acting and I copied his acting. Some actors act through their language while others through their eyes. These all things are in Muhammad Ali Lashari.
Q. Do you think to come in media is difficult in your time or now?
In 90s, people want to come in dramas. They could do anything to come in media because they were interested in media. I love my work and one who lovehis work can achieve target and that person struggle for ownself and now I mania to my work.

Q. When did you start acting in dramas?
I started acting in 1973 from a tableau presented in Jinnah BaghLarkana. The tableau was produced by Ghulam Hussain Korejo, he also insisted me to work in radio and television dramas. So on his recommendation; I went to Hyderabad in 1977 to act in dramas. After sometime, I moved to Karachi and acted in several radio and television dramas.
Q. In Sindhi dramas, feudalism is shown. How can we get rid of all these activities?
Channel authorities should keep an eye on the subject of these dramas. They just show wadera type themes and feudalism. Drama is a conversation but in Sindhi dramas actors are directed to change their voice that is nonprofessional. Acting must be appropriate and writers should also depict the social and cultural values of Sindh. Only through this we can get rid from the feudalism trend.
Q. Nowadaysyouth steps in showbiz without having awareness about it. What are your comments in this regard?
Showbiz is not a child play. A person wants to work in showbiz must have knowledge about it. I have not taken classes but I was enthusiastic and listened and watched dramas on radio and television respectively. After watching and listening those dramas I thought that I can also act.
There was notraining centers in my time. But today, there are many institutions giving trainings presently. Nowadays, showbiz is taken lightly and youth want selfies and photos on television channels. Unprofessional people can never understand showbiz. They must be enthusiastic and have to generate a learning passion to work in showbiz.
Q. People say there is less talent but a lot of talent is seen unemployed. Why so?
It is our misfortune. Channel authorities must keep employees who have enthusiasm. Those who have talent are not getting place. The channel authorities do not even want to talk to new talent. They hire employees who give money.
