  Mushtaque Hussain is a senior officer

of state bank of Pakistan Hyderabad.

Q:  Why did you choose banking?

A: As I have done MBA and this degree deals with management and finance subjects. Therefore job in banking was suitable to my educational background.

Q: Working time in bank is long enough how did you manage your time for your family?

A: it is so difficult to spend enough time for family. But I did this by completing all my duties on time and utilizing the Saturday and Sunday as family day.

Q: In Islam interest is forbidden, what do you think doing a job in bank is halal?

A: The preaching of Islam doesn’t allow us to engage with interest related activities in this connection having a job in bank which follows the monetary rules of west is un-Islamic.

Q: What do you like best about banking?

A: Banking maintain the living standard of its employees by providing loans like cars and house building and fully funded medical facilities . Which helps a lot to fulfill its social and financial needs? These are the facilities I like about bank.

Q: Do you recommend your son to work in bank?

A: Still not but, I shall recommend my son for this in case, when he don’t have other opportunity.

Q: In banking field. Is there anything that makes you unsatisfied?

A: Long working hours and daily, monthly and yearly targets of financial matter are really painful which makes its employee unsatisfied toward his/her job.  

Q: How the bank employees should treat public?

A: As bank is an institute that directly deals with public and public related issues. Like, collecting bills, accepting deposit etc. In this connection it should be the fundamental requirement for bank person to have good communication and ethical skills so that concerned public feel easy to contact with them.

Q: Do you think that banking system of Pakistan is reliable?

A: As per my experience and knowledge banking in Pakistan is reliable but international standard banking is more advance than current system is applied in Pakistan. So in order to meet the requirements of modern time state bank of Pakistan should apply modern practices throughout Pakistan on uniform basis.  

Q: What was your memorable time in banking career?

A: My memorable time in my banking career was, when my name was announced for the senior office of state bank of Pakistan Hyderabad in 2016. And I got promotion latter. So it was wonderful time in banking career that I will not forget.

Q: What is your loyalty as a banker?

A: To me loyalty as a banker to earn banking rewards. It’s a revolutionary and innovative way of recognizing and rewarding banking relationship that enables us to provide you with the best combination of benefits.
